Faith Can Be a Lot of Fun!
Hope Fellowship's biggest growing demographic is young families with children, in part due to the great children's ministry offerings we have available. At Hope, your kids will grow in their faith, make new friends, and learn that church can be a blast! Some of our programs include:
- Sunday School: We offer a combined class for children in preschool to 5th grade. Classes begin at 9 a.m. each Sunday.
- Kidz Worship: Kids age Kindergarten through 5th grade enjoy Kidz Worship during the length of the Sunday morning worship service. Children may be checked into Kidz Worship beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. This time of age-appropriate learning, music, crafts, games, and fun helps lay a strong foundation of faith for our children. Hope Fellowship uses curriculum from The Praise Factory. This curriculum includes resources for parent/child devotionals throughout the week. Learn more about parent resources here. (Note: Of course, parents may choose to keep their children with them in the sanctuary for the worship set and/or the entire sermon. The choice is yours!)
- Awana: Hope is proud to offer the Awana program for children age 3 through 6th grade each Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 p.m. This is a time of scripture memory and team games, with occasional service projects and fun events. We also hold the Awana Grand Prix each February, which is one of the BEST events at Hope Fellowship.
- VBS: Vacation Bible School is such a fun time at Hope! Our evening VBS is typically offered the second week of June each summer. The week includes dinner, craft time, Bible lessons, games, and a missionary focus for the week.
- Kansas Bible Camp: Typically held at the end of July, Kansas Bible Camp is a week away for children who have completed grades 3rd-8th.
- Special Events: Whether it's a BBQ, cornhole tournament, water fun night, or our annual Easter Fest, Hope loves to gather together.
