Campbell “Soup” Terry
Originally from West Texas, Campbell first came to Hope Fellowship in light of a call to serve as the Interim Pastor, while simultaneously pursuing his Master of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He graduated in May 2025. Beginning in August 2025, he was hired at Hope to serve in the role of Next-Gen Pastor. He will serve the younger generation, while also covering the pulpit at least once per month. In addition to his role here at Hope, Campbell also serves as the Ministry Cohort Director at Spurgeon College.
Campbell enjoys all things Kansas City, from the Chiefs to the Barbecue. It has not taken the Texan long to get settled in. In his spare time Campbell enjoys adding to and listening to his vinyl record collection.
Campbell married Maddy in February 2025. He’s had a busy year! They are praying and preparing for a lifetime of ministry together.

JC Morrison
Executive Pastor of Adult Ministries
JC joined the pastor team at Hope Fellowship in August of 2025, becoming the Executive Pastor of Adult Ministries. In addition to his role at Hope, he serves as the Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is an avid fan of the Washington Capitals and hockey in general. He also enjoys attempting to be a woodworker, nerding out about how things are made or work, and enjoying good food with his family.
JC has been married to Julia for 8 years. They have a 1-year-old son, Abel, and another son due in December 2025. The Morrisons moved to Kansas City from Portland, Maine, over 6 years ago so that JC could pursue more education at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In Portland, JC and Julia served on staff together at First Baptist Church in Portland, Maine.

Cheryl Patneau
Office Admin
Cheryl serves as Hope Fellowship's part-time office administrator. Her primary responsibilities include supporting the Senior Pastor, data entry, managing communications, bulletin preparation, and other administrative tasks. When she's not serving the church as secretary or in her other volunteer capacities throughout the church, Cheryl enjoys painting, keeping in touch with her grown children, being with friends, and pampering her sweet pups when they aren't sleeping and snoring loudly.
