This week at HFC, JC Morrison continued our journey through the Gospel of John with a message titled Set Free from John 8:31–38. Jesus challenges His listeners to move beyond surface-level belief and truly abide in His word. In this passage, we see that real discipleship leads to truth, and truth leads to freedom—not political or personal independence, but freedom from the power of sin. Jesus reminds us that lasting freedom is only found through Him, the Son who sets people free indeed.
