This week at HFC, JC Morrison continues our journey through Acts with a message titled “Establishing Churches” from Acts 14:21–28.

As Paul and Barnabas retraced their steps through the cities where they had proclaimed the gospel, their work wasn’t finished simply because people had believed. They returned to strengthen and encourage the new disciples, appoint leaders, and help establish healthy, lasting churches. Even in the face of hardship, these believers were encouraged to remain faithful and continue in the faith.

In this message, we’re reminded that the mission of the church is about more than making converts—it’s about making disciples and building strong communities of believers who will continue the work of the gospel. God calls His church to encourage one another, grow together, develop faithful leaders, and remain committed to the mission He has given us.
