Sermon - Set Apart for the Work

This week at HFC, JC Morrison continues our journey through Acts with a message titled “Set Apart for the Work”from Acts 13:1–12.
As the church in Antioch worshiped, prayed, and fasted together, the Holy Spirit called Barnabas and Saul to a specific work. The church responded by sending them out, beginning a new chapter in the spread of the gospel. Their mission quickly brought both opportunity and opposition, but the power of God’s Word could not be stopped.
In this message, we’re reminded that God sets His people apart for His purposes. Whether He calls us to go, send, serve, or stand faithfully where we are, our mission is the same: to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus.
