Sermon - True Colors

This week at HFC, Campbell Terry continued our series The Gospel According to John with a message titled True Colors from John 8:12–20. In this passage, Jesus boldly declares, “I am the light of the world,” revealing His true identity in contrast to the spiritual blindness of the Pharisees. The sermon highlights how the light of Christ doesn’t just illuminate truth—it exposes what’s hidden and calls us to step out of darkness. We’re reminded that following Jesus means walking in His light daily, allowing Him to reveal our true condition while leading us into life, clarity, and freedom.
